How does it work?

The CatchItCam Hunting video system utilizes a small (2" X 1" dia) color camera lens with an external high quality microphone that attaches to your hat, or headband utilizing a custom adjustable mount. A single cable with a quick disconnect, goes from the camera lens to the supplied padded camo pack that protects the camcorder or other recording device. The system requires that you use a camcorder or other video recorder that has Audio/Video INPUTS to record the video onto. For best results we recommend and sell Sony camcorders in the Digital8 or MiniDV formats. We also offer a wired remote control that will operate the on/off, pause and record functions of any lanc equipped Sony or Canon camcorder. Once the camcorder is packed away in the provided pack, you will not need to access the pack to start and stop the recording function of your Sony or Canon camcorder with the optional wired remote control. Just push a button, the remote will confirm that you are recording with a red led light, then take your shot!
