The CatchItCam helmet camera system utilizes a small (2" x 1" inch dia.) camera lens with an external high quality microphone that attaches to your helmet with a custom adjustable mount. A single cable with a quick disconnect goes from the camera lens to the supplied fanny pack or padded pack that protects the camcorder or other recording device. The system requires that you use a camcorder or other video recorder that has Audio/Video INPUTS to record the video onto. For best results we recommend and sell Sony or Canon camcorders in the Digital8 or MiniDV formats. We also offer a wired remote control that will operate the on/off, pause and record functions of any lanc equipped Sony or Canon camcorder. Once the camcorder is packed away in the provided pack, you will not need to access the pack to start and stop the recording function of your Sony or Canon camcorder with the wired remote control. Just push a button, the remote will confirm that you are recording with a red LED light and then you are ready to ride! You may also use the same versatile system for other adventures with CatchItCams optional mounting solutions.-Our cameras are designed to provide the best video for the lighting conditions that they will be exposed too!-
