How does it work?

The CatchItCam Ski/Snowboarder video camera system utilizes a small (2" x 1" inch dia.) camera lens with an external high quality microphone that attaches to your ski helmet, hat, or headband with a custom adjustable mount. A single cable with a quick disconnect runs from the camera lens to the supplied padded pack that protects the camcorder or other recording device. The system requires that you use a camcorder or other video recorder that has Audio/Video INPUTS to record the video onto. For best results we recommend and sell Sony or Canon camcorders in the Digital8 or MiniDV formats. We also offer a wired remote control that will operate the on/off, pause and record functions of any lanc equipped Sony or Canon camcorder. Once the camcorder is packed away in the provided pack, you will not need to access the pack to start and stop the recording function of your Sony or Canon camcorder with the optional wired remote control. This option allows you to record all action and no lift riding! Shoot high quality video for up to 8 hours!
